Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who loved music. Her childhood was spent listening to classic Boleros from the past along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves the operas and tangos along with all dramatic performances. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing in the early years together with her mom. She received more formal singing instruction when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. As a student and young professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in the southern part of California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. In addition to being an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her involved in a range of different projects. Ana is a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
